What will you make?
You will be making the Verona Jacket from Tessuti Patterns. A easy to wear, cropped jacket for confident stitchers. You will have made a couple of garments before.
- Size range XXS – XL
- Cropped, boxy jacket features extended shoulders and a peaked hemline at the front,
- Learn all about front shoulder darts
- Two-piece bracelet-length sleeves.
- Designed to be made in boiled wool, with exposed seams
What will you learn?
Cutting out and sewing up raw edges, overlapped seams, setting in a sleeve, setting in a collar.
What is provided?
We provide the pattern, but you will need to pick it up before class to pick it up, or we can arrange to post it out. If you have any questions about fabric requirements or sizing, please feel free to ask any of our incredibly helpful staff in-store.

Your own sewing machine and the knowledge of how to use it!
Fabric is not provided in the cost of this class. You will need to come with your boiled wool or boucle pre-chosen, but cutting out is one of the skills you will learn on this day course. If you choose to buy your fabric from CoolCrafting, you will receive a 10% off fabric code at purchase. You also get 10% off anything in the shop (excluding gift vouchers and future classes) when you shop on the day.
You will need to bring glasses if you wear them, and an extra layer of clothing if you feel the cold. Our shop is very old, and we heat it to run upstairs and downstairs, not sitting and stitching! There will be a 30-minute stop for lunch, so we recommend you bring something to eat.
Where is it?
This workshop takes place on the first floor of our beautiful CoolCrafting shop in the heart of Kendal, just off the historic Market Place. Please be aware that the only access to our first floor is via a staircase. There is no lift.
