Description
The Meadowsweet Collection book is a series of patterns; no materials are included. Here is a full list of everything you might need. To make it easy for you, we have put together a selection of carefully curated fabrics in three colour ways in our Meadowsweet Bundles
The Old Schoolroom Dress—50cm x 140cm. It is made of Light to midweight cotton, with 8 buttons and tonal thread. You might want to use press studs instead of buttonholes.
The Meadowsweet Blouse: Fat qtr of lightweight to quilting weight cotton, 1mtr 1 – 1.5cm deep lace, 5 buttons, tonal thread. You might want to use press studs instead of making buttonholes.
The Collectors Pinafore – 29cm x 110cm wide mid-weight Cotton or Linen 60cm of 1.5cm wide plain ribbon and you might want to use press studs instead of making buttonholes.
The Adagio Wrap Top – 40cm x 49cm of a mid-weight jersey or knit fabric, tonal thread and about 50cm of a pretty ribbon – about 2.5 – 4cm wide, 1 button and a 5cm piece of narrow elastic.
The Camomile Pants – 1/3 metre x 70cm wide mid-weight jersey or knit fabric, 12cm x 35cm tubular ribbing for waistband.
Note – tubular ribbing for the waistband can vary greatly in its stretch – if you have our navy or light grey tubular I would cut it slightly smaller – so 12 x 32cm.
The Hawthorn Suit – 60cm x 70cm of a mid-weight fabric such as wool, cord, flannel, a fat qtr of lightweight cotton for the waistcoat lining (or you could use some left over from the square collar dress). 3 buttons, 16cm of 1cm wide elastic, a safety pin, tonal thread and you might want to use press studs instead of making buttonholes.
The Emile Tunic – 45cm x 70cm of lightweight cotton or viscose, 1 button, tonal thread and you might want to use a press stud instead of making a buttonhole.
