Description
Our Skye Wrap is an easy and stylish cover up, great over a jp and jeans. Make in your favourite tweed, line with something pretty, throw it on and go.
You will need:
70cm of wool tweed fabric at least 150cm wide ( pictured in Blood Orange Tweed)
70cm of lining fabric at least 140 cm wide (pictured in cotton lawn) – The lining should be smooth in texture and woven – not stretch!
3 large (c.4cm diameter) feature buttons
You will also need scissors, tape measure, pins, a sewing machine, tonal thread, a sewing needle and an iron. A knitting needle or chopstick will help you turn out corners.
Suitable for a beginner stitcher, it should be do-able in an hour or so.
Please note we are giving you dimensions rather than a paper pattern, but there are detailed, illustrated instructions.
The wrap photographed is made from one of our tweeds and is lined in a Lawn
