Description
Feminine without being floaty, the Milenda is a timeless dress with a four tucked front that releases at the lower hip, and the same detailing on the back with two pleats. The scoop neck has a bound finish and there are in seam pockets. The sleeves are short and the fit is relaxed. The dress can easily be worn over a long sleeve jersey for a more layered look.
Our chosen fabric is a yarn dyed herringbone weave in a beautiful soft aqua colour called Sea Mist. The fabric is stable and easy to work with. It presses without marking but does crease lightly because of it’s linen content. The natural fibres make it a breathable, comfortable fabric to wear and care for.
This kit is suitable for an Advanced Beginner.

1/4 mtr x full width white Tearaway Vilene
75cm x 18mm patterned but complementary bias binding for the neck edge (this is different to the pattern but will make it easier and is an elevating detail)
