These rather refined undergarments were designed by Luna, based on a vintage set she picked up in Paris. The items are made in Essex Yarn Dye and feature French lace and velvet ribbon. You will need to be an adventurous beginner to complete them as those pin tucks are challenging.
Luna’s bloomers feature heavily in the new book, Sewing Luna Lapin’s Friends – and we think Wilhelmina looks adorable wearing them with Sunday Best.
Available in natural and chambray
Ingredients – Robert Kaufman Essex Yarn Dye, 1 mtr deep Cluny Lace, 1 mtr skinny Cluny Lace, elastic, velvet ribbon, safety pin, 2 buttons, 2 press studs.
Supplies – You will also need scissors, matching threads, pins, a sewing machine, an iron, knitting needle and a sewing needle.
