Leg Attachments

Whoever you are making, we have an external leg for them

External Buttons for Leg Attachment  as with Ziggy, Ottoline, Gracie, the Moon Hare and Smokey Joe are 80p for a pair
Ernest our big cord fox also has external buttons for his leg attachment and they are made from coconut and are £1.40 a pair

Metal covering buttons are used as the internal leg attachment for Reynard, Hugh, Daisy, Ramsey, Clemintine and Freddie.  A single pair is 90p. Our most commonly asked question is what to do with them! so here is a quick explanation You need to snap the flat part of the covered button onto the domed part first. You don’t need to cover them, it’s the shank part that’s important. You tuck the whole button up into the top of the leg, make sure it stays in place with stuffing and the safety pin, and then when it comes to threading the elastic through, you will go through the felt, through the shank, and back out through the felt with the needle and elastic.
