Description
Daisy needs something warm for when she is on the fellside, battling the winds in her full-skirted favourite dress. She wraps the warmth around her and cinches it tight around the waist, just as her mother taught her – sometimes with old twine, sometimes with a belt. Then, it’s time to pull on her boots and brave the mud.
Designed by Sheila Mason for CoolCrafting ( Sheila is our sample stitcher, Queen of tiny topstitching, and avid knitter), this is a raglan sleeve coat with moss stitch borders and collar. It can be worn wrapped and belted—perfect for a stylish Shepherdess. Pair it with cosy knitted boots and a leather belt with buckle.
