Cotton Lawns

Cotton lawn has a beautifully smooth surface so it is a great base for print and colour. The fabric is lightweight (lighter than cotton poplins) and is suitable for tops, dresses, summer separates and nightwear. We find cotton lawn to be a perfect lining fabric, especially for our Skye Wraps. Lawn is stable to cut and sew but you might need a slightly finer machine needle such as 70 to sew with. Cotton lawn can be washed and dried as other cottons, but we would never recommend tumble drying for any fabric.
Most of the lawns in this section are between 135 – 140cm usable (52-54 inches)
Multiple quantities will be cut as continuous lengths, i.e. if you buy 2 mtrs and one 1/2 mtr they will come as a 2.5mtr length.
