Our Make Me kits include easy-to-read instructions with beautiful photography and clear diagrams to demonstrate the sewing steps. We are sure that if you read the instructions carefully, you will be successful in your sewing, but if you have any questions (or just want to show off your work), join Luna Lapin’s Little World.

Ottoline is designed to be hand-sewn and is suitable for confident beginners/intermediate stitchers. We recommend you are at least 13/14 years old. This cutie is made in 100% wool felt with a soft little tummy, removable tail and with the same leg construction as Ziggy, she also has his short legs. Though all of our Luna-sized outfits are interchangeable, Ottoline is shorter than most of Luna’s friends, so maxi dresses become maxi, and you may need to crop trousers! We designed the April Shower Outfit and Anorak for her adventures.

Ingredients: 22.5cm (9in) x 90cm (36in) wide darker felt, 17.5cm (7in) x 15cm (6in) contrast felt, 5cm (2”) black felt, black thread winding, cream thread winding, bobbin of tonal thread, 1.5mtrs (60in) 40wt whisker thread, 2 buttons for eyes, 2 buttons for arm joints, 2 buttons for legs, sewing needle, doll needle, eight pins, large snap fastener.

You will also need a sewing machine (optional), scissors, a water-soluble marking pen, 110-120gms stuffing and a pencil/knitting needle/chopstick for turning through/stuffing Ottoline.

Ottoline the Otter should not be regarded as a toy.
