Woodlands Cottage Paper Pattern

Description

Sometimes, Luna just wants to be in her own home – this is a perfect place to keep her and her clothes – or a way of gifting her. You could also make it your project bag for all future Luna’s. It’s not a quick make – but you can decide to make the detailing as easy or complicated as you like.

You Will Need  1 mtr of Natural coloured fabric like calico or linen, 1/2 mtr  floral cotton.  1mtr medium weight iron-on interfacing, 12″ x 9″ Brown felt for the tree,  6 x 9″ Coloured felt for door, 6 x 9″ green felt as options/ for leaves, 20cm of 1.5cm lace for the porch, Plastic ring for doorknocker, Domed metal button for the door handle, 3 mtr 1cm wide ribbon,  Assorted embroidery threads, 2 green tapestry threads, 2 brownish tapestry threads, scraps of print and plain cotton, a meter of 30mm wide bias binding, 50cm (20”) of a soft wide ribbon, scraps of felt and other prints, 30cm (12”)of ½ cm (1/4”) wide elastic.

You will also need the following tools: A needle, pins, safety pin, scissors, an iron, a sewing machine, a water-soluble marker pen, a large tonal bobbin of thread, and iron.
