Buy the Men’s Jaime Jacket sewing pattern from Modern Sewing Co. The Jaime Jacket is a casual menswear piece designed to feel quietly smart and easy to wear. It may look simple but it’s full of carefully considered details to elevate it from other ‘over shirt’ style jackets.

The cut features a curved yoke that flows straight into the under sleeve seam which turns into a slit opening at the cuff. This flowing seam travels from cuff to cuff with a wide run and fell seam. The front pockets have a dual opening, and the back loop is on the outside of the jacket for a unique and subtle design detail.

Description

Suggested fabrics: Denim, corduroy, twill/drill/gabardine, heavy linen/hemp, wool (not too thick as you’ll be sewing through six layers at some points), waxed cotton.

Fabric requirements: 

150 cm wide fabric: Sizes XS2 – M, 175 cm // Sizes L – XL3, 200 cm.

110 cm wide fabric: Sizes XS2 – M, 230 cm // Sizes L – XL3, 270 cm.

Sizing: XS2 – XL3. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The pattern includes three sleeve length options so you can choose the right length for you.

Notions: 7 buttons, roughly 2-3 cm diameter; 60 cm of mid/lightweight iron-on fusing.
