Orla and Ava The Ducks

£12.00£32.00

Meet Mother, Daughter Duckie duo Orla and Ava. So much for a no-bird rule! I should have known as soon as I started telling people there were rules to Sarah Peel’s creative process, she would start breaking them. Keen wild swimmers, our 2023 Christmas Quackers have a natural distaste for trousers but should be fine in most of Luna’s dresses. Ava, the duckling, fits perfectly into the dress we designed for Eliza, the mama mouse from the Dickens box.

Description

Our Make Me Orla and Ava Duck kits include easy-to-read instructions with beautiful photography and clear diagrams to demonstrate the sewing steps. We are sure that if you read the instructions carefully, you will be successful in your sewing, but if you have any questions (or just want to show off your work), join Luna Lapin’s Little World. our helpful Facebook community.

Orla and Ava are designed to be hand-sewn (though you could use a machine – remember to add your own seam allowance).  They are suitable for intermediate stitchers; we recommend you are at least 13/14 years old. The ducks are a whole new shape to Luna and the gang, but many of the techniques you will be using remain the same. Though our Luna-sized outfits are interchangeable, trousers aren’t going to work for our Ducks. Ava is smaller than Luna’s, so her outfits are limited to the Tie Front Dress from the 10 Year Aniversary Magazine and the Eliza Dress from the Mousels Kit.
