Description
The Moon Hare was created out of a need for shoulders to wear the Elizabethan style petal bodice designed for the Shakespeare Box. One needs a strong set of shoulders to let it shine. This allowed us to make a new shaped Hare, with a pointier ear, a longer, more regal neck and a haunched leg. Our Moon Hare feels like magic, where Luna is soft, the Moon Hare is ethereal, the perfect Fairy Queen.
Our Make Me kits include easy-to-read instructions with beautiful photography and clear diagrams to demonstrate the sewing steps. We are sure that if you read the instructions carefully, you will be successful in your sewing, but if you have any questions (or just want to show off your work), join Luna Lapin’s Little World, our helpful Facebook community.
The Moon Hare is designed to be hand-sewn, and though there are parts you might find easier with a machine, it is not essential; she is suitable for an intermediate stitcher; we recommend you are at least 13/14 years old. Though our Luna-sized outfits are interchangeable, the Queen of the Faires Outfit was designed specifically for her (or rather, she was designed specifically for it).
